Between gently sloping hillsides and sunny valleys, the Domaine de Guilhon d'Aze is ideally located on acidic and sandy-silty soils called "Sables Fauves" which bring typicity and character to Armagnac.
The 60 hectare vineyard is run by the Tastet family from father to son, according to the simple and authentic principles of Reasoned Agriculture. It is from this environmentally friendly management that the local white grape varieties (Bacco and Ugni Blanc) are born from which the vintage Bas-Armagnacs are produced.
Tasting Note :
Bright amber color. The nose displays vanilla and candied fruits aromas. The mouth is rich, round and offers a nice balance between the fruit, spice and woody flavors.
